Privacy Notice
This notice explains how It's a travel planner ("we", "us", "our") collects and uses your personal data when you join our early-access waitlist, and the rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Who we are
It's a travel planner is the data controller responsible for your personal data. For any privacy questions or requests, contact us at [email protected].
2. What we collect
Only what you give us: your email address, together with the date and time you signed up. We do not collect names, payment details, or any other information at this stage.
3. Why we use it & our legal basis
We use your email solely to add you to our waitlist and to contact you about early access and the product launch. Our legal basis is your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)): you give it when you submit the form, and we confirm it by sending a link you must click to complete your signup (double opt-in). You can withdraw your consent at any time — see section 6.
4. How your data is stored and shared
Signups are stored in a Cloudflare database, and we use Resend to send the confirmation and waitlist emails. Cloudflare and Resend act as our data processors under their data processing terms. Your data may be processed outside the European Economic Area (for example, in the United States) under appropriate safeguards, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. We do not sell your data or share it with anyone else for marketing.
5. Cookies and analytics
We do not use cookies, third-party analytics, or advertising trackers on this site. We don't track how you browse it or build any profile of you. Fonts are served from this site, not a third party. When you submit the form your signup is processed by Cloudflare (which runs our backend and database) and Resend (which sends our emails), which may receive technical data such as your IP address as part of that, but no cookies are set on your device. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this notice and, where required, ask for your consent first.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your email for up to 3 years from the date you sign up, or until you ask us to remove it or withdraw your consent — whichever is sooner. After that it is deleted.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or erase your data; to restrict or object to its processing; to data portability; and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email [email protected] and we will action it promptly. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority — in Sweden, the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY, Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten).
8. Changes to this notice
We may update this notice as the product develops. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "last updated" date.
